A field programmable gate array (FPGA)-based online trigger system has been developed for the COherent Muon To Electron Transition (COMET) Phase-I experiment, which searches muon-to-electron conversion as a signature of New Physics beyond Standard Model. drift chamber and counters are devised to detect mono-energetic electron from process in 1-T solenoidal magnetic field. highly intense muon source enables reaching unprecedented experimental sensitivity, however, it also generates undesirable background particles increase rate much higher level than capability data acquisition (DAQ) system. By using hit information addition counter, newly proposed efficiently suppresses while keeping signal-event acceptance large. characteristic this is utilization machine learning (ML) techniques optimizing lookup tables (LUTs) implemented hardware. Simulation studies show that 96% reduced 91 13 kHz.
